waitlisted for vero at easter...

hi everyone...just wondering, we are on a waitlist for a 2 br at vero for 4/4/ - 4/9 2004 or 4/11 - 4/16 2004. we know spring at vero is very hard to get unless u own or book at 7 mths day by day (which we didnt as this just became possible for us to consider). anybody have similar hopes or recent success or past success with the same scenario? just curious...thanks so much!

We haven't gone at this time so don't have much experience booking for Easter or for a 2br.

Were there 2 inn rooms available?

Is that an option for you?

i just booked vero for easter, 4/8-4/11 weekend, and i believe i got the last ocean view inn, but ms said they had several studios & garden view inns left.
you still have 6 mos. to your ressies and people lives change and so do their ressies, hang in there
you could always book the 2 studios/inns if it works for you and still stay on the waitlist for the 2 bdr, if it come through, switch your 2 studios for the 2 bdr.

Looks like we will be there the same time as you. Last year we reserved a 1 bedroom and our 2 br waitlist came through in January. (we were on the waitlist since July) This year, I decided to add a night (4/8) to our 2 b.room ressie but it is waitlisted as well. We booked 2 ocean view inn rooms as back-up for that one night. I booked the first 4 nights at 11 months and waitlisted the other night at the beginning of September. Were you able to book a one bedroom?
