Waitlisted at Victoria & Alberts

Hi everyone! My husband has decided he realllllly wants to take our foodie daughter to V & A for a special dinner during our Christmas trip 12/19-12/27. Of course he decided that was really important to him yesterday. So we are currently waitlisted for a table for any of those nights for the two of them. (I will not be joining them as a) someone has to stay with DS8, and b) I don’t think I will enjoy the meal nearly as much, my tastes aren’t refined enough I don’t think) but this will be a great night for the two of them if it happens.


Has anyone ever had any luck getting off the waitlist?

I joined the waitlist for V+A the end of July for 12/25 and 11/22; haven't heard a word yet and thus made other arrangements.
Perhaps you'll have better luck since you gave a range of dates.
I would hedge my bets by securing other reservations for the nights in question because Christmas Day in particular is booking up fast.

I tried doing the waitlist two years ago and it never came through. You’ll have a lot better luck signing up for a reservation finder.

This. Was waitlisted for the first night of my honeymoon. I managed to get one with the reservation finder. Good luck!

Yes, but it was years ago and not during a busy time of the year. I'd also been multiple times, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

I'd also watch for Chef's Domain at Citrico's - while not the Vic & Al's experience, it's another high-quality meal for foodies.

Fellow Huey lovers! Have seen him five times in concert, though all of those were--gulp--decades ago. . .
