Waitlist success for BLT Need help with room

Just happened to check my DVC account and was surprised to see my waitlist came thru for a 1 bedroom at BLT for Thanksgiving weekend. So excited have never stayed here. Only had points for standard view saving points for next year when our son is getting married at Disney. What can I request for a room area. I know it will not be a great view but would like a higher floor. Where are standard located? Any help would be great.

There’s an image on the first page that gives a breakdown of the rooms. Hopefully it’s still accurate.

I think all standard rooms are now on floors 1-5?

Congrats on getting your waitlist! I have a 2 bedroom waitlisted at AKV and BLT for Thanksgiving weekend, but doubt it'll get filled with either. :-( We have a room at SSR...we just really really dislike SSR and were hoping for anywhere else, lol.

If you want a higher floor, just put in a request for 'highest possible floor'. I can't remember what floor the bridge to the Contemporary is on...I'd probably request that myself.

5th floor of BLT (connects to 4th of CR Tower).

Hope your wait list comes thru, I was so surprised mine did. I just decided to look for something else on my account and it was there. I did have a room at Kidani so hopefully someone was able to get that. We have never stayed at SSR, I did start there and then switched to Kidani. I really only wanted a 1 bedroom with the two baths so BLT or Kidani. I am looking forward to BLT even thou it is standard view. Good luck to you if not have a great trip anyway.

Congratulations! I've had a waitlist for early December since the 7 mark date and it's still not happened yet.
