Waitlist Secret

Not sure if it is a secret but I felt like I discovered treasure. I believe between the time my new second membership was created and points were loaded, I was able to make my 2 waitlists. Try it! It keeps you sane after waiting and waiting and waiting for resale points to drop. You “get” to wait in a good way.

Well, probably not but you get ahead on the list.

If matches before the points, the waitlist is canceled and just not filled.

So, if that happens, you’d have to set up again.

Yes, if no match then you get ahead. If a match, you get canceled and you start another one. Chances are the former than the latter and the latter isn’t any worse than where you started.

Thanks for the tip. I was in a similar situation recently and this could help with HR timing vs loading time when too close for comfort.

Ain't waiting the hardest? Not that I plan on purchasing DVC points again anytime soon, but thanks for sharing, I remember being where you were, and watching availability going away as I wait for closing and points to load.
