Waitlist Question

We have an 11 night reservation in October for a 2br at SSR. If I were to put in a waitlist for a room at another resort for just the first three nights of my current reservation and it comes through, would they replace my entire 11 night reservation or just move the first three days to the waitlist resort on a new reservation and leave the remaining reservation at SSR intact?

In order to set it up like that, you need to call MS and have them make that note.

When you set it up online, it only gives you the option to replace the entire thing, which is not what you want.

One option, if you had the points and if there are still rooms is rebook the nights you want to change as a separate 3 night reservation, and reduce the original one to 8 nights,

Then you can set it up to just replace those 3 nights. If it doesn't come through, you then contact MS closer to the trip and have them merge it back into one.
