Waitlist question

If I have a resort on waitlist will it show up on dvcmember.com? I see mt reservation, but no waitlist. I was just wondering. Also do I just keep checking the website to see if changed or do they call?

Unmatched waitlists will not appear on the member website. If the waitlist comes thru, the reservation will appear there and you should get a paper confirmation in the mail. They will not call you.

Does anyone every have more luck calling and asking about a waitlist rather than just wait?
For instance, although they say it isn't so, I have MUCH more luck with RCI when I call, consistently, looking for a certain date/place of travel (I have 2 other timeshares).
So, does anyone ever see their waitlists come through quicker by calling rather than just waiting and seeing.
