Waitlist question...June 8-11

Okay, so I booked a studio at OKW for June 8-11. Our home resort is BCV.

I can live with OKW, but I waitlisted for the entire stay for BCV. Actually, Sunday was the only night BCV didn't have any rooms open.

For those of you who typically travel at this time of year, any comments on the chances of this waitlist coming through? I know that Sunday will be tough to get, especially if there's more people in front of me.

I appreciate any input you all may have.

We don't own at BCV, and I booked June 10th studio there at the 7 month mark...because I wanted 1 night at BCV. We have a 5 night stay planned, the rest at BWV. A month ago, I decided that I wanted 2 nights at BCV, and waitlisted for the 11th. The 11th came through for me last week.

I hope the 10th comes through for you. I think it will!

OK, I know it's only been a week, but I'm starting to despair a little bit.

Am I fooling myself that there's a chance BCV will come through on June 10? Or is it a snowflake's chance in h-e-double hockey sticks since I only booked on March 29?

I can get the Friday and Saturday, but the Sunday is what's left and with the fewer points on Sundays, I just feel like there's no hope.

Now this is just a thought, but why don't you take the nights they have available at BC, make a ressie somewhere else for the night they don't have, and then waitlist for one night? At the worst, you will have to move for one night, but your chances for getting one night are better than getting all the nights at once that you are waitlisted for.

Cruella...thought about that. Friday and Saturday are actually "quite open" according to MS when I called last week. Honestly, I'd rather not have to move at all, especially with a short stay.

We have a ressie at OKW and I'm okay with it. BCV is our home and we plan to be at Star Wars Weekends a lot, so BCV would have been more convenient for that.

Anywho...I waitlisted for the whole stay and set it up to automatically move my ressie with the appropriate change in points. I figured since Friday and Saturday were open, I'm still waiting for Sunday any way.

Would I have a better chance on the waitlist if I was just waiting for Sunday?

I've never waitlisted before so this is all new to me.

You are going to love that OKW studio. Two comfortable queen sized beds. Very large bathroom. Nice views.

I just booked an OKW studio for Jan for my husband and his buddy for the marathon. My son will be a freshman and I hate for him to miss school, so he and I don't get to go.

We've been in an OKW studio before...and we did like it! Like I said, it would just be a tad more convenient if we could get into BCV for our plans this trip.

We just had mother's day just come through for us on the waitlist. It was the only night that wasn't available. However, by the time it came through the 14 th was no longer available. Good thing I double booked the ressie. Do you have enough to do this? If not, I would keep checking on the availability of the other nights to make sure it is still there.
