Waitlist for November 9-18, should we call?

My family is waitlisted for a Grand Villa at OKW or BWV for Nov 9-18 (11 of us are going). DVC called and we were able to get a grand villa for Nov. 10 and a 1 and 2 bedroom for Nov 11-18 at OKW. The problem is we can not find a room for Nov 9th . We were told there was nothing available and we are waitlisted at SSR, OKW and BW. Should we keep calling DVC? Or, will they call once something opens up? Sorry if I sound a bit paranoid, but with 11 of us going, I want things to go a smooth as possible.

I would keep calling. I hope something comes through. It would be great if the GV would open up for more of your dates.

Have you tried to book the 9th for cash? Just to have something, DVC discount or not?

Yes, we looked into 4 studios at OKW for cash, and they quoted us $240 a night for each room! We are looking into cash at other resorts, but I hate to think of us changing rooms each of the first 3 days we're there. Thank you for help!
