Probably Saratoga would be one of your better chances. I can't imagine getting into AKV since it is so new.

We have a AKV GV for 6/01-6/07 in the Kidani Village but have recently waitlisted for one in the Jambo House. The kids really wanted the pool table and I made that request when I orginally made the ressie. Unfortunately the CM didn't know (nor did I) that they are only in the Jambo House GV's. By the time I figured it out I had to waitlist for it. I am not expecting this to come through and we will be excited to be there no matter which bldg we get.

Our waitlist for BWV from the 17th-22nd came through today. So we'll be there instead of SSR. I've been doing the happy dance all afternoon and evening, but then I just noticed that that MS totally messed up my remaining points, so now I have the headache of dealing with that. (They put all our remaining points for the year into holding, even though the waitlist that came through used more points than the original booking. Whee!)

I changed two of our dinner reservations to World Showcase restaurants. I am very excited that our last minute (originally booked two weeks ago) vacation will be at our home instead of SSR.

Reading through this thread I was interested as to why so many waitlist requests filled yesterday. It looks like 5 different people posted yesterday, I wonder if if 4/17 marked some kind of opening for May DVC rooms that Disney was holding and then makes available? Or maybe a bunch of people were canceling before the 30 day period started?
