Waitlist Expiration

I have been on a waitlist for a studio at BCV for a few months for Dec 3, 4, 5. (I was able to get ressies at OKW, but I really want to use my shiny new BCV points at the BCV.) My question is this: the waitlist will expire soon, but when? And to extend it, when should I call MS?

Your request will remain on the waitlist for up to 31 days before your arrival date. If you want to stay on the waitlist beyond that, you have to call Member Services. They'll entend your request to 7 days before check in. There is no waitlist within 7 days of arrival.

Some posters have reported that they did get what they wanted by calling the resort directly within the 7 days. Maybe that will work for you.
