Waitlist chances

Back in December I had to waitlist a night at Aulani for the end of June. I was pretty hopeful that it would come through as the released more inventory due to sales. Now that it's almost April I'm starting to get worried. Has anyone had a waitlist come through for June at Aulani? Are sales strong enough that they might release more rooms by then? Trying to decide if I should just do a cash reservation for that night.

If you want to make sure that you have a room, you better book cash. Check with DVC to see what their DVC discount cash rate is before you book through CRO.

Thanks Bill. Guess I was hoping some waitlists were coming through for June. I'll be calling today to see if there is still a DVC cash discount available.

Finally had a chance to call Member Services and was told they can't even check for cash discount until 60 days out? That doesn't sound right...and she wasn't even sure if they could do cash discounts at Aulani. Anyone know if any of this is true? The only other cash reservation I've made was within 60 days so I'm not sure.
