Waitlist came through !

We are traveling the week after Thanksgiving. I was able to switch us to a BLT lake view studio last week for 5 out of the 6 nights. I waitlisted the Friday which was our 2nd to last night. I have been stalking and seen pretty much every other day pop up at some point. I have an Oct use year so really wanted to have my room bookings picked by the time I need to bank.

My waitlist can through last night! I am very excited to stay so close to Mk for this trip! We are hoping to do the Xmas party, book Chef Mickeys for DS 8th bday and mobile order from Steakhouse 71.

I suspect we may see a few more waitlists come through as people switch to the VGF2 Resort Studios to try them out. While not a waitlist I was somehow able to snag a BWV Boardwalk View Studio for the week before Christmas by being persistent on our 7 month mark.

We had two waitlists come through on the same day this week. One for a lake view studio at BLT and one for 1 bedroom BWV garden /pool. single nights.

Just to add to the wow factor, these were for the second week in Dec.

I have a one night waitlist for a BLT one bedroom in December. I stalk, but this thread has given me hope!

I have BWV for our whole stay, but DH told me afterwards he really wanted BLT or VWL. I basically said forget about VWL, but I waitlisted that for the whole stay, who knows. However I only need one night at BLT to make DH happy.

I had never waitlisted anything till recently. Happily, both my VB waitlist for early June and Poly lake view studio for Late September both came through!

My method is always waitlist and stalk. I wanted to add a day to my VGF2 resort studio stay in December... the catch was it had to be a disability roll-in shower. I was able to book a resort studio for the day but since it didn't match room type, I'd have had to change rooms... not a deal breaker but it's already part of a split stay so not ideal.

Waitlisted the room I needed in the morning. Was stalking later in the day only to find the waitlist had filled! Got the email confirmation the next day.

I didn't think wait list ran in real time... always thought it was an overnight process. Go figure! LOL

I am currently waiting on a second-to-last night for a waitlist too. everything else has come through stalking or WL ... hope your good luck rubs off...
