Waitlist came through!!

Everyone seems interested in different waitlist stories, so here is mine.

We will spend a week at BWV in Oct. Then we head south for a week. On our way back home we are stopping at DW for a couple of days, Nov. 4, 5. We own at BWV, but we wanted to try something else. So in July I tried to book several places and found only SS was available. We want a 1 br. So I wait listed at BLT lake view and Kadani savannah view. Nothing happened for about 6 weeks. Last week I went ahead and booked a 1 br at SS. and today the Kadani savannah view came through. We had wait listed until 7 days out. This is the first time I have wait listed, so I am pleased.

I too was excited when my wait list came thought was strange. They never contacted me and just so happened I was on the site and had to do a doubletake. I'm glad it worked! Congrats

We use waitlists regularly to get into BWV's for Food and Wine and have had great success. This year we even wait listed and got a Boardwalk view for the entire stay! The last two days matched last week while I was on the phone with the DVC survey caller.

Our waitlist for Sat Nov 17 for VWL 1br came through yesterday! Only thing is they didnt add it too our existing ressie for the 18-20th, so guess I'll call MS to link them.

I got an email, that had a linkable reservation number. I clicked on it and it had the info.

I had been checking daily as per discussions here, but hadn't bothered yesterday as it was a Sunday. Go figure.
