Waitlist came through in less than a week

I called this past Sunday at the 7 month mark to try to switch our BCV studio reservation for August to a standard view at BWV to save points. The first two nights weren't available so rather than take a chance on having to move I just kept my BCV and waitlisted for the whole week. Just got the confirmation that the waitlist came through already!

I've never had one come through that fast! I have to wonder, could it be that things are working smoother now that online booking is up and running? Or maybe I just got lucky...

Congrats! We're going to BWV in August too and the std. view wasn't available for 2 of our nights so I took the BW view. Since we're going for like 9 nights I didn't want to waitlist & have it not all come thru. Maybe I should've tried tho?!

AGh. SO your the one who has my room...LoL. J/K. I tried to get a Studio, 1st at the BCV, then BWV starting on Aug 22 - Sep 2. They stated none were available for the 1st 2 nights. Only garden view. I was able to get the following 9 niughts though. I'm currently waiting on my 1st 2 nights to have it switched to standard as well. It's not a Huge issue, but not having to change rooms would be a plus...Ceeya down there. We'll be the ones acting like kids , while our kids will be the responsible ones .LoL, Have fun

Thanks everyone! And sorry DizDad! . We gave up the BCV studio when we got the BWV standard view so maybe that one will come through for you instead?

We're going to Star Wars Celebration 6 at the OCCC so of course we had to combine it with Disney too!

I just had a wait list come through for 2 bdrm BWV std, only 1 night needed but still I was very happy, it took 3 days. Originally we booked 1 bdrm BLT for that night and have a RCI trade in for the following week at BWV. Hoping we can stay in the same room throughout the 8 nights!

This is even better than Star Wars weekends. Every couple of years there is a big Star Wars Celebration convention somewhere in the US. In 2010 and again this year it just so happens to be in Orlando. So we get a giant Star Wars fix and a Disney fix all at once.
