Waitlist at BWV

Tomorrow our 7 month window opens for our November stay. We have a 1 br reservation at BLT but would like to get a 2 br at BWV. It looks like I might have to waitlist the first two days of the trip. I've never had to do a waitlist so I'm a little confused/ concerned. Is there a pretty good sucess rate getting your waitlisted dates this far out? I assume they fill them in the order received. Do I cancel my 1 br at BLT hopeing that the Waitlist goes through?

If it were me, I would get what was available at BWV if there are consecutive days. Keep the first 2 days at BLT and waitlist what you need at BWV. If you only need 2 days you have a pretty good chance of getting them. At worst, you will just have a split stay. Not so bad.

That weekend is popular. I've been waitlisted for a boardwalk view studio for the night of 11/10 for about a month now. I did snag a pool/garden studio as a backup, it showed as not available and then it was available so I grabbed it, then it showed not available again so I must have got the last one. I got 11/11-11/16 boardwalk view studio.

Yes, a very popular weekend! I'm trying to get anything at BWV for Nov 8-10....

I was able to get a 2BR at VWL for the entire stay and wait listed for a 2BR at BWV as either Garden/Pool View or a Boardwalk view for the entire stay. We're ok with staying at VWL for the entire stay if the wait list don't come through. I'm not real kean on doing a split stay with 7 of us...

I am wailisted for the same night and same view!!!!
I am checking in on Nov.2 and have all the nights except the 10th. I have been waitlisted for a few months with no luck. I also grabbed a pool/garden view just to have something. I would hate to have to switch rooms but at least I have something.

We are wait listed for part of that week too for BWV and its our home resort. Those went quick!
