Waitlist April 1st

Can anyone comment on the reality of getting a waitlist at BWV or BCV April 1st. We have reservation at BWV the prior 5 days and were lookig at staying longer.

I sure do hope it works out, because we are waitlisted on 3-27 for a one bedroom at BCV, and I am really hopeful. I don't want to have to move, since I will be there from the 28th thru the 6th. So lets both think positively, OK? Do consider reserving a night somewhere else, just in case the waitlist doesn't come thru. That's what we did, and the moderates are $119 right now, so perhaps that's an option for you. Good luck

I've had waitlists come through within less than 30 days of the date I was requesting...usually a day smack dab right in the middle of a week! If I recall correctly, you need to let DVC member services know you are still interested in waitlisting at the 30 day point. I can't recall if they still allowed waitlisting after that point or if I had to call everyday or if I had to re-request being on a shortlist. Just call MS and ask if you haven't heard anything by the 30 day point.
