Greetings friends,
I have another list of questions that I am hoping some of you can help me out with.
My wife and I have planned our first trip home for this August, and boy is it a doozie! In all there will be 12 of us, 8 adults and 4 children (ages 8m->5y), currently we are booked for a 2BR and a studio at Saratoga Springs.

Does anyone know, being I have already booked at SSR, can I be wait-listed for a 2BR and studio at BCV and/or BWV? I would definitely prefer to be at the Epcot resorts for obvious reasons, but it is not necessary that we have rooms next to each other. I do not want to be at totally different resort locations. When I originally called, they did not have such a combination available.
Any advice on how/if I can upgrade?

As we will be travelling with small children, it is very likely that we will need to have strollers, can anyone provide any insight on this topic? my understanding is that you can rent them from the parks for $7/day, but I am figuring for at least a break/nap in the afternoon, so when we go back in the evening, would I have to pay $7 again? This leads to my next question....

Could I just ship my stroller to the resort? Or could I ship a box of food to the resort for that matter?

Can anyone help me put one of those countdown clocks on my messages? I know I am under 6 months and I am getting excited!

As always, thank you all in advance for your time!
Jess

You can definitely be waitlisted at BCV if that is what you wish. I haven't tried a waitlist yet, but my understanding is that you just call MS and ask to be added to the waitlist. You do need to decide if you want to waitlist for the whole week (or however long your trip is)...or day by day. You have a better chance of it coming through day by day...but it's possible that not all of the days will come through...which means you would have to switch rooms during your stay (maybe more than once!).

Unless something has changed, strollers are good for the day. You get a receipt that you keep with you, and they give you a stroller at no charge when you go back to the parks in the afternoon. The strollers are nice...but don't recline...so be aware. We're bringing our jogging stroller in June...we'll see how that goes! I assume you are flying...so you could gate check the stroller if you want.

Again, if you are flying (and especially if you are not renting a car), it makes sense to ship some food down or have netgrocer deliver it - especially with a crowd that size! If you have a car, I'd probably just take a couple of hours the first afternoon and hit Costco and Publix. You can always pick up take out dinner while you are out to make your time outside of WDW worthwhile!
:teeth:

You can go to the Tech Support board to can get help with the countdown clocks. :smooth:

You definately can be waitlisted at other places while having reservations at another. Last October we had reservations at Wilderness Lodge but were waitlisted at BWV and BCV. We DID get out entire time at BWV.

Good Luck!
