Can anyone tell me what you did about making ressies for DME when you have a waitlist? We are booked at SSR and are waitlisted for BWV. I want to make a DME ressie but I guess I have to wait to see if the waitlist comes through, right? To make it even more complicated, we are staying the 1st night at POP because we are arriving at around 11pm and don't want to spend the points for the 1st night. So, I also need to make 2 ressies for DME??? 1 to POP and 1 from which ever resort we end up in. Thank you so much!

You will have only one reservation. If you are staying at Pop for the first night then you don't have to worry about your luggage. You have tags for Pop. Now you are moving to another hotel the next day. Contact bell services at Pop and let them know what hotel you are moving to. They will move the bags for you. If you are at the waitlisted hotel, let BWV know about your prior plans to ensure that DME picks you up at the correct location.

We asked DME this question last month as we were booked at BWV but waitlisted at BCV. The woman told us to take a black magic marker and change our tags with the correct hotel name if our waitlist came thru. I can't remember if she said, but i'd think that a call to DME would be a good idea also. What was funny is that our waitlist came thru right after they sent the tags for BWV, so they sent us BCV tags also.

Make 1-way ME reservations. For arrival, you can make the POP ME reservation now.

You can make the ME reservation for the return trip to SSR now, too and then after you arrive, you can either call ME to change locations or you can stop at the welcome center when you arrive and do it in person. Either way, it will not be a problem.

Good luck with the waitlist.

Thank you CarolMN! You made it simple to understand. Can I ask you if I should call MS to make the DME ressies or call DME directly? Thank you again:thumbsup2

You can make the ME reservation for the SSR reservation online (via the DVC member website) or by calling MS. Not sure if MS can make the Pop ME reservation - but my guess is not.

For that, you'll have to either call ME direct or perhaps CRO can add it to the POP reservation for you. If you have the POP reservation confirmation, my choice would be to call ME yourself.
