Waitlist and Cancellation

We have a 1br BWV standard booked for 8 nights in March (we are on borrowed points). I would love to stay at VGF for the last night (3/22) in a lake view studio but there is currently no availability.

I see an option to waitlist and replace existing booking but is the system smart enough to realise that it should only cancel the one night? I really don't want to risk the BWV booking.

I wouldn't check cancel existing booking when you waitlist it. If the reservation comes through call MS and drop the day.

In that case, I would send an email to MS or give them a call to set up the wait list so that you know for sure the correct wording is on it to only replace the one night.

Since you are already on borrowed points, I am going to assume you don't want to have to borrow to fill it and then cancel out the night at BWV.

Even when I set it up online to replace part, I always verify with MS to make sure its noted correctly.
