waitlising for November

Hello DVC members-

Currently we have a 2BR ressie at OKW for 11/5-11/11/03, but we are waitlisting for BCV, BWV, & VWL.

What are the chances that we might get any other DVC resort? The other family going along with us does not want to waitlist day-by-day so we have opted for the length of stay.

What DVC resort do you think we would likely be able to get?

You are in the one you are likely to get. The Food & Wine Fest sells out the Epcot area big time, and the rest of DVC follows. We had family back out of a shared 2 bdrm at BWV in early November and when I tried to book something smaller for just DH and me, I was told there was nothing available at ANY dvc resort - not 1 bdrm or studio. At the time I tried to change I was told that even OKW was full. We would have been fine with OKW as we love the place.

Anyway, waitlists often come through, but I would assume the list is very long and may not come through. That was at least 3 months ago when I was given the info, so I assume people have been adding to the waitlist ever since.

Not trying to rain on your parade at all - I'm glad you got OKW as it appears that it has filled also.

I have been on a wait list for grand villa at OKW, NOV 2-9, since MAy 1,2003 and no luck so far

No telling how the waitlist will turn out. Last year, we had a ressie for a 2 BR at OKW for Nov 4 & 5. We decided to try to switch it over to the BCV about 3 months prior to our check in date. BCV was sold out for our dates and the waiting list did not come through for us..... We had a wonderful stay at OKW and I am glad we had a chance to check it out, but I did miss the convenience of just walking over to EPCOT during the F& W festival. Hopefully, the waitlist will come through for you. (I've got my fingers crossed for you )
