Waiting till Sun. Aug 24 to hear about Free Dining Bounceback??

Pretty please, can someone answer my question??

I've booked 14 nights the last two years during FD, 1 on BB and 1 general public.

Now does anyone know if it extends past Oct 1st as long as you check in by than or do you have to check out by than?

Did someone ask for pics?

Would someone clarify for me? I see that it is based on a family of 4, what if you are a family of 3, does the pricing stand per person? I'm new to bounceback and want to be prepared when we are there in two weeks! TIA!

Go to the Disney web site and plug in your 2009 dates and select your resort, don't add dining. That will be your total amount.

You have to price it for a room only with the number of tickets you need. If only one child, there will be only one ticket. The ticket price depends on the child's age. Ten years old and the adult ticket price applies. A family of 3 will cost less than the family of 4. You only pay the additional cost for the room if the person is 18 and over.

Your price will be the rack rate room cost plus tax (unless you pick the 2 resorts with a discount) plus the cost of tickets. You must purchase at least a 1 day pass for each person 3 and over.

We just got back to our room to give DD3 her nap before heading back to MK until 1am for EMH. We got the flyer and have an offer for $74 for moderate resorts and $95 for deluxe resorts (it states AKL specifically, but I assume it's good for any deluxe). The code is DJX. Dates are 8/23/009-10/1/09 as stated by Charin.

At first I thought it was $95 a night at deluxe resorts. Then I looked at the flyer and its $95 a night for 4 people. Anyone know what the room rate would be on these deals?

We haven't even arrived for this years FD trip yet but
DH has given me the OK to put a Deposit for next years FD!!

Did you get free on all 14 nights???? I am not trying to be a dunce, I just want to make sure I get this right before I go.

Question #2 : Can you book 2 resorts on freedining for 14 Days. I would like POR for 10 day and then switch to the poly for the last 4 days and of course would like to do this on free dining.

Thanks:flower3:

I've read all of the posts, but I am still a little bit confused (please forgive my ignorance!)...

What is so special about this BB deal?

If I understand it correctly, the room rates are the exact same that you can currently book online, but you get the free dining plan. So basically, the deal is that you can book your free dining now instead of trying to predict the future in hopes that they will offer free dining to "the public" next May/June?

Is this correct?

Thanks,

Evan

1. Free Dining was included for all 14 nights.

2.You would have to make two seperate reservations and include atleast a one day tix for each person at both resorts to qualify for free dining.

OK, I am totaly confused. :confused3

Is this free dining plan only for bounce back? and exactly what dates are we talking about for FD ?

Thanks

A couple of things make this special...one is you can book free dining now instead of waiting until at least April to find out if it will be offered to general public (and you avoid having to be on the phone at 7 a.m. to get a room in the gen. public offering, which is not fun. Especially if you're in a different time zone. I was on hold at 6 a.m...west coast people were on hold at 4 a.m.)

2nd, if you wait until gen public offer, the hotel you'd prefer may be unavailable...they only set aside so many rooms at each resort for Free Dining rooms so if they go fast (like the Value resorts do) you may be out of luck by April-June. We were not there for BB last September, so we had to try for the gen.public offering in April. I called the first day it was available, and couldn't get through...on hold for 45 min...but was able to book on-line while I was on hold, for my choice of Pop preferred room. However, by late afternoon of the 1st day people were posting that they couldn't get any preferred Value rooms; a few days into the promotion people said they couldn't get Value rooms at all for the Free Dining promotion.

3rd, if you book now, you can get your restaurant ADR's at the 180+10 mark. If you wait until the general public offer (probable April-June) you'd be trying to get ADR's at the 3-4 month mark...there will be less availability on the more popular restaurants because everyone (free dining or not) who has booked a room at least 6 months out will have already gotten their ADR's.

And if you book now & decide in a few months you don't want to go, then cancel & get your deposit back. But having the reservation now will give you some advantages.

Thanks catne for the clear explanation.

Couldn't you book your room now and if they offer free dining at a later date, add that on at that time?

Evan

Me and my wife are checking in soon and had planned on going next year with some other people. Can we book a package for everyone who is going next year, even if they arent with us this trip? We would like to get a 2BR at Saratoga Springs.

We are staying for 14 nights this September and we have free DDP for every nights stay. We upgraded to the DxDDP since our stay was so long. :dance3:

Here is my question and it might have already been answered but I guess I am just as confused as the others..........In order to book the free dinning, do you have to be at the resort now? Or can I go online while I am sitting at my home and book free dinning for next aug/sept? My family and I will not be there until Dec 3 so if anyone can help me understand I would be so great-full. Thanks:confused3

This current free dining promotion is a bounceback program. I believe it needs to be booked by Oct. 24th, and you need to be physically staying at a WDW resort to be able to book it. HTH!:goodvibes

I have a quick question on the dates (perhaps Batman could clarify ;) ).

I see that Oct 2-8 is listed separately, and there's been some discussion as to a discount on OKW or SSR and free dining. I'm curious, for these dates, is the promo ONLY for OKW or SSR, or can you still book other resorts?

Thanks in advance.:thumbsup2
