Waiting till Sun. Aug 24 to hear about Free Dining Bounceback??

Geez...is anyone ever gonna give us the whole shabang??? I am waiting for the nitty gritty details and have looked all over the Disboards today and still....NOTHING! HA! Guess I'll go buy some more clothes for my ds for our WDW trip in a few weeks....

Thanks! So would I only get that deal if I was there during the free dining promotion this year. I don't check in until Nov 2. I'm still confused about how this whole BB thing works. This is the first time I am staying at a WDW property as an adult! So I am not familiar with how it all works. Thanks to your batcave for any info!

You have to book the bounceback offer between 8/24 and 10/24 so you would be arriving after the time to book for next years free dining. Sorry. Im sure youll still get a bounceback offer for a room discount but not free dine. You can still book free dine next april when its released to everyone else

Mbanks....if we can book the BB for SS or OKW...what about the gen. pub in April...you know my situation...I need three rooms but only two adults on this trip to book BB so I need to book my third room in April with the DV code...will they offer the 30% too....hmmmmm....I wonder....and if I ask that question when I am booking my two BB rooms, can they tell me that info??

Ok, so I can book a BB while I'm there and then "when" FD gets released to the public in "April" I can just add it on to my package? Do I have to book a package with my BB or just a room, to be able to add it? Oh yeah and can you ask your batcave when I should make such ressies so that my vaca falls in the FD time period?

wesignlanguage, not sure if the general public will be offered the OKW/SS discounts or not. Worst case scenario youll have 2 discounted rooms and one regular price room.

punkee- you can book the package anytime you want and call back in april to switch it over to the free dine offer, just remember its limited availibility so youre not guaranteed free dine even if you have a package already reserved

General public free dine dates wont be out for a while but it will probably be very similar to this years 8/24 to 9/20 give or take a few days either direction

Please don't slam me or make fun of me for not fully understanding BB. We will be there this yr 9/20-29. How much of a discount is there for booking next year while we are there this year? Is it that much better of a deal then waiting till FD becomes available to book next Spring? Like this year we are at POP for 9days w/ 7day tickets +waterpark option. I believe the cost was $1900.

Ok guys!! Here it is...a pic of the flyer someone got today at WDW...it's FD...doesn't mention the OKW or SS discount in addition though...hmmm...maybe when someone talks to the BB cast member we'll learn more...

Mbanks, i have one more question for you. I am reading conflicting dates on the FD for next year. One is until 10/1 (10/9) and you mentioned to me (9/20), like this years. Does that mean that if you book with the general public code the dates are different? Also, if I were to book for next years FD (when the public code is released) could I check in on the last day the FD was offered and get it for my entire stay of would I have to be there during the promotion? Does that make sense? Thanks for your help!

THe general public free dine dates are always shorter then the bounceback dates. Free dining bounceback from last year for this year went into early october but the general public free dine for 08 ended 9/20. You can check in on the last day and get free dine for the entire stay up to 14 nights after

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Makes me wish my trip was a couple weeks sooner! I would love to go next year early October instead of late September. Oh well atleast I'll go!

Sorry to ask another question but it is definite for the October dates that you must just check in by October 8 to get the deal? I assume the switch to regular season is the reason for the differentiation of the October 2 - 8 dates on the BB flyer?
