Waiting on ROFR (this is stressful or is it just me?)

I am sure there are others who have been through this (or going through it now..?). Waiting on ROFR....UGH!

DH and I own direct with two contracts at VB and VGF. Last month, we decided to purchase our first re-sale and our offer was sent to Disney for ROFR on March 31, 2022. It was for a 160 point contract at SS for $129 pp. I am biting my nails waiting as I have a feeling Disney will snatch it. Keeping my fingers crossed and wondering if this does not pass, perhaps I go with a Poly Contract (or something unlikely to get purchased by Disney). Anyone else in the same boat?

Oh you’d think ROFR is the worst but you’re only half way there at the point that passes and then the rest is just as excruciating. The resale process is not for the faint of heart for sure. But so much savings. You can do it!

We're trying to buy a poly contract and we are on day 35 right now. We were hoping it would be quick since they haven't bought back a poly contract in 11 months. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case.

We were over the moon when we bought our first two direct contracts, one five years ago and the other two years after it. Knowing it's a sure thing can be more thrilling than the rush of learning your resale went through after a month or more of stress.

The trick is to completely put it out of your mind (I know, easier said than done) while your pending contract just sits in the ROFR process, as the calendar churns day, after day, after day.

Day 44 here. This was my first contract and the impatience is so real. I bought Riviera direct while waiting (first dvc contract) and just put in another offer on BLT. If I wait much longer I will go broke!!

We just passed ROFR yesterday and I'm already planning to add RIV direct on our next trip!
