Waiting List

I am heading to the world in january 2012. I am presently booked in a 2bdr Kidani, Savannah view, but tried to get BLT. I was told the first four nights at BLT lake view were open and then I would have to be wait listed for the other 2, or I could do 4 nights lake view and one night Mk view, but the last night MK view wasn't available so I would have to be wait listed for that.
If there wasn't a room available I would have to spend my last night at Kidani. It all made my head spin.

Any suggestions and or experiences on whether my waitlist has a chance of going through or if I should leave well enough alone and just stay at Kidani.

How about a split stay so you get the best of both worlds. It looks like you have 6 nights altogether. Do 3 and 3.

I'll be there too in January in a Ded 2 bdrm at Kidani....what are your dates? I'm also from Mass too....

How about a split stay so you get the best of both worlds. It looks like you have 6 nights altogether. Do 3 and 3.

I would do 3 and 3 or 4 and 2 and never look back. THAT is perfect.

I usually do split stays at both of my home resorts. I am going down on 12/23. So 3 nights at AKV and then 3 nights at BLT.

I think you need to make sure that none of your dates are the same as marathon timeframe. I would book the 4 and waitlist for the rest, with the possibility of moving. Though is you did not book it when you called, it may be gone now. Availability changes quickly.

I'm waitlisted for January and started my waitlist on the first day of my 7 month window and still nothing has come through. We are there 10 days, all at OKW, but I wanted to do the BWV-standard studio for part of the stay so I have 2 waitlists. One for Jan. 18 5 nights and one for Jan. 23 5 nights. I hope one of them comes through, but so far, nothing. My waitlist started on June 18th, so it's been over 3 months now. I just don't ever do well with a waitlist. I don't think I've ever gotten one yet. Who would've thought for the last 2 weeks of January would be so hard.

We are arriving on the 22 and leaving the 28th. We are from woosta. Or as everyone in the country calls it wor-chest-er.

Thank you for your input. We decided to do the split stay. The first three nights at BLT and the last three at AKL-K Savannah view. Now I can't believe I am saying this being from New England, but I can't wait for January to get here.
