Thanks. The reason I asked is because the last time I booked in 2013 and the room-only offer came out, it took me an hour to eventually get through to an operator. I was trying to make it easier for myself.

There is the option to search for discounts under MDE. I'm hoping to be able to do it this way as well.

Thanks! I was trying the MDE app and couldn't see that option there.This is how i searched for discounts.
1. Go to wdw website.
2. Click on MDE.
3. Click on MY ITINERARY
4. Click on VIEW DETAILS.
* the details of your reservation should then pop up (dates, resort, room type, number of guests)
5. Click on MODIFY RESERVATION (it may take a few seconds for this link to show up. Dont panic)
6. Under VACATION OFFERS ckick on CHANGE. Then you should get a box that tells you there are no offers available for your dates or resort.
I hope that when the RO discount does come out, i will actually see an offer and be given the chance to apply a discount to my reservation. Why else would they have added that feature?

I used the change reservation feature online when FD came out for out September trip. It worked well but it kinda seemed like I was having to rebook everything (pick resort, tickets, etc) but I had no problems with anything being lost or changing. The only issue was at that time the payment feature was messed up when using a tablet so I had to change to my laptop to complete the modification.
Here's hoping for a great late fall discount and easy reservation modification ;-)
