Waiting for repair man VENT

Ok, so you all know that my washer died 17 days ago. This is a Maytag... and it died only after about a year old.

First called Home Warranty, and they sent out the repair guy. Then they had to get another repair guy (since the first guy was not authorized Maytag).. then they had to order the trasnsmission.. took 9 days for the transmission to get in. They then repair guy took 4 hours to attempt to fix it on Thursday.. now it needs a pulley/lever.

The pulley/lever came in on Monday.. and they are supposed to be here sometime between 9-12.. HELLO! Don't I have other things to do?

I usually study in the library, and it is finals week....

Don't even get me started on the oil delivery guy yesterday. They siad sometime between 12-4... he showed up 3:45.

I *hate* waiting for deliveries, repair men, or any of those guys. It's ridiculous that you have to set aside half your day so that *maybe* they'll come during that time.

Yes its challenging... and never mind that fact that I haven't been able to do wash for 17 days.. with two kids.. I'm ready to scream.. (I usually do 2-3 loads a DAY, picture that times 17!)

Must be something with oil men. I waited at my parents house one day last week for the oil guy to come clean out the furnace. He had said between12:00-3:00. He showed up after 5:30!

I hear ya!! I just want to know if ANYONE here has ever been first on the delivery schedule? I never have. Just a few weeks ago, I was having my sofa delivered (which delivery cost me $150). I was told that they would be at my home between 8:00 a.m. and noon. They got there at about 12:45. I swear these people get up, load up their trucks, and sit at IHOP for a few hours.
