Waiting for FREE dinning is killing me!

Waiting for them to announce fall free dinning is making me crazy!! It saves us a ton of money and allows us to do more extras!! We are booked for the week before Thanksgiving until Thanksgiving day. Anyone hear any rumors about WHEN they may announce it??? Last rumor I read was late March or early April. Come on free dinning!!

I wouldn't be too hopeful for free dining for your dates. They were not part of the original bounce back offer, and rumors of October/November being included in free dining dates are few...

Not trying to be a downer, but it's always good to be happily surprised vs unexpectedly disappointed...

At the top of this Restaurant board, look under Disney Dining Plans and you will find a sticky thread about waiting for Free Dining. That has very up to date, minute by minute information (although they can tend to get off topic occasionally)

Plus it's been theorized that the number of reservations hoping for Free Dining causes Disney to limit the offer. If there's enough rooms filled, they don't need to offer it. I think that is possible for the week before Thanksgiving.

There will still be a lot of hotel rooms closed for renovations then. That could resolve the issue of vacant rooms, too.

Generally its announced any time between mid March and early May.
The trend lately has been late April lately.
Also since you are already booked there's a chance that you may not be able to modify your reservation to get it since it's for a specific number of rooms in specific resorts and if you may not be eligible.
