Waiting for August Hours - All hours are up!!

getting closer!!! come on come on come on I'm getting less patient!! I even have off on friday so I can replan and plan some more!!

I'm right there with you! I feel this week is DRAGGING by. I just want to see those hours!!!!!

Come on Friday...anybody know what time Friday?? Is it 12:01 am or early morningg? I have to be at work at 9 am but if hours are up early, I can get started after the kids leave for school

My 90+10 date is May 23...my DD's 6th birthday. So I had to call and get her cake pickup day moved to Friday the 22nd so I didn't have to go Saturday morning and pick it up. Good thing her party's at 1:00, I'll have plenty of time!!

I have completed my itinerary including ADR's based upon July's hours and EMH days. I have made my final tweak, and everything is perfect.

I just KNOW that when August hours come out Friday, everything will be different than I expected and I'm going to have to start all over again from scratch!

I wish Friday would get here already!

Yeah, but isn't that half the fun?! Tell me you won't be a little disappointed if Friday comes and you don't have to even do any tweaking!

Yeah, in all honesty, I can't imagine what it would be like to have everything finalized Friday and spending the next three months doing . . . .

Just less than 10 days until the hours *should* be posted! Then the ADR frenzy can begin!!

Our trip isn't until the end of the month, so it looks like we'll have a couple of weeks to tweak our schedule before calling in for our ADRs on Memorial Day.

Hm, I'd say if you are calling in for your ADR's on Memorial Day, that must mean that you will be checking in on August 23rd. I know this because we'll be checking in on August 23rd, and I'm impatiently awaiting Memorial Day to call and make our ADR's.

We're staying through September 5th though, and it stinks that I'm not going to have the September park hours yet when we make our ADR's for the September days in our trip.

Hello all! I am also anxiously awaiting the release of the hours, and for those of you whose husbands 'don't want to hear about it any more' I feel your pain. Believe it or not, my own daughters are also sick of hearing about it. I am the only one who is excited!

Anyway, on to my question: How long can I expect to be on the phone? I am calling from overseas, but the cost isn't what I am worried about. Even though 7 am is actually 2 pm here, the problem is I must leave for work at 2:30 the very latest!!! I will be calling during the free dining stage, so I am certain that the phones will be crazy busy!

Next, could someone please enlighten me as to 'order of importance'? Meaning, from the list of restaurants, can you put them in order of most difficult ADR to least difficult? Thank you so much DIS community!

We can make our ADRs on May 7, and I'm still completely up in the air as to which parks to do on which days.

I'm not even sure of our last ADR!!

I guess this weekend I'll get moving once the calendar is out!

This is the first time we'll ever be there for more than 8 nights. This time we'll be there 14 nights!!! I'm so excited! We'll actually have 'off' days where we just relax!! That's never happened before. This is going to be amazing!!

Same with us. The longest I have ever stayed is 8 days and last summer I was only there for 6. This year we were supposed to stay for 10 days but we had to cancel a different vacation in June so we figured we would extend Disney to 16 days and make it relaxing. We have 2 whole days where we aren't going to the parks, just relaxing at the Poly! Plus 3 days at each park and 1 at each Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.

You would be correct! Aug 23-Aug 29 at Pop for us! I sure wish we could do one of these 2 week vacations I'm reading about on here - oh, how nice that would be!!

It really depends on your dates as well (earlier ones are going to to harder, because everyone can get to those).. and make sure you have backups too! But I would say, hardest to easiest:

I'm right there with you! My dates are 8/30-9/6. And right now we don't have park hoppers. How am I going to pull this one off? I'm going to just assume that the park hours for August will be the same through Labor Day weekend, I hope.

Me too- I keep checking every morning - tomorrow I'll check in the morning, afternoon and night

We are staying at Pop from 8/22 to 8/31. We aren't getting park hoppers so park hours (pm EMH particularly) will determine what parks we will be at which days, and hence which restaurants we will eat at which days. As soon as the schedule is out the real planning and scheming begins!

Here are the selections for our free dining ADR's - we will have 9 TS credits.

Dinners:
1. Ohana (MK or HS)
2. 1900 Park Fare (MK or HS)
3. Boma (AK)
4. Cape May (HS)
5. Crystal Palace (MK)
6. Le Cellier (Epcot)
7. Chefs de France (Epcot)
8. Tusker House (AK) (this is the only one I am not 100% sure about - not sure what else to substitute for it other than a second nite at one of our above listed resort favs like Boma - maybe the new AKL restaurant?)

and one character breakfast at Akershus
