Waiting for August Hours - All hours are up!!

If you arrive on the 16th Aug your 90 day mark is the 18th May. I had this problem too, the calculator on WDWinfo said we could call on the 17th, but other calculators said the 18th. I checked and if you arrive on the 16th Aug you can call on the 18th may to make your ADR's.

We arrive on the 15th and our date for reservations is the 17th so for those checking-in on the 16th your date would be the 18th. We will have two of us on phones so we can hopefully get the reservations we want. Will go for the toughest first - Le Cellier and revise if necessary after that one.

This is exactly what is happening to us this year. Our trip is Aug 29 - Sept 5. This is the 1st time using DDP too! Do I book for the Sept days without knowing the hours?!!? So stressful

We will be there Aug 4th - 11th, so I will only have a few days to double check the hours, shows, etc, against my current plan. I have a sketch of what I want to do, and used the touringplan.com dates to pick my parks. however, I was hoping to also have the TGM days before I had to do my ADRs, it is not looking like he will have them up in time (looking at when he got up the days for July anyway).

Can't wait for August hours to come out! We're going Aug. 24th - 29th so I'll have plenty of time to plan. Can't wait to make my ADRs on May 26th...I think. The last 2 trips I haven't had any problems getting what I wanted and that was calling exactly 180 days out at 7AM. Not sure I'll be able to call that early this time b/c if I do, I'll be late for work. Previously, I lucked out with my ADR day being on a Saturday. I guess it will make it more exciting...or nerve wracking!! Not sure why I feel the need to make the ADRs at exactly 7AM...I can be so anal with these type of things!

I'm waiting imatiently...DH decided to let our 10th Anniversary gift be a return trip tp WDW...2 weeks ago. So from start to finish, I have less than 4 months to plan the entire trip So I can't wait to get those park hours and get out ADR's straight. Especially since DH says "Whatever you want when I ask him a ??"

We will be there 6th - 16th and are looking forward to finalizing this part of our plan. I wish Disney would post hours 120 days out. That would make it easier for those of us that are obsessed with planning.

We are "patiently" waiting for August hours to be posted. Our trip is 8/16-8/22 with our date to make ressies on the 15th.

The first week of September hours might be similar to the last week of August hours from this year, maybe compare those once the August hours are up?

I mean, I'd compare this year's to last year's hours too, but then also compare to the week's before, since it's all Value Season, and if they're closing things earlier this year because of the economy, I'd hate for that to mess up your plans.

I agree that I should look at both and take a wild guess!! I was just thinking that usually hours are a little different right before Labor Day... but who knows this year because of the economy. I really think that hours should come out 120 days prior to make it easy to do 90 day prior adrs. But... I know that not everyone is as fanatical as people like us!! I can't imagine people who don't plan their trip months and months ahead of time and have disney thoughts occupy ever waking moment!

This may sounds bad and un-dis like, but I kind of dread the August hours being released because I will begin obsessing over the trip again. I think my DH will kill me if I talk about it anymore! Now I have to decide what the best plan will be for each day and stop second guessing myself about what plan would be better. I guess if I had more time to think about it, I wouldn't mind so much

Your DH sounds JUST LIKE mine!!! He hates all the Disney talk. He tells me I should be happy that he's at least going. BOO! At least we have DIS to rely on. We can talk Disney all the time and no one one here will get annoyed with us (at least, I hope not). I'm still looking forward to the hours FINALLY being released!!!!

There are people like that?!?! And they actually get things DONE in the park between the lines?! How do they do it?

Aren't you making yours on the 2nd? Are you leaving on the first of August? (Maybe I'm wrong, but you're 25 days before me, and I'm on the 27th of May. Or did I count wrong? )

We're going 15/8-20/8 then onward to DCL...also anxiously awaiting park hours, fortunately our 90+10 is on a Sunday...
