Waiting for August Hours - All hours are up!!

Here is my preliminary plan - but I'm a bit not sure on my 1st MGM day or my days during my second part of my stay due to haveing so much time scrunched at the end, lol
We don't have hoppers and we don't want to do EMH's. This is what I was taking into acct. I'm hoping Sundays at AK are not EMH's - I don't think they will be base on EPCOT & MK both having EMH those days. Also - GASP, I can't imagine not going to MK on my last full day there, yet we wont' want to stay as long, so going to EPCOT makes more sense for leaving earlier.

I think the hours the TA gave you aren't quite right. I'm pretty sure AK usually closes at 5, not 7. And it seems weird that in a year where they're cutting back on other parks' hours, they'd give AK two more hours.

I believe the EMH days though, as that's what makes sense with the schedule for the rest of the parks. I just don't know about the 7 PM.

last August AK was open until at least 7 pm.

7 in August sounds right. That is what I remember from before. Don't forget it doesn't get dark till later. I can see earlier closing the last week of August, but the first 3 weeks 7 sounds right on.

I think it might have to do with the time of year. The July hours are also 7PM closing for Animal Kingdom - with the longer sunlight, they can keep the park open longer.

I think for the beginning of August, yeah, 7 is right, but then it goes to 6, and then back up to 7? Maybe it is right, I don't know...

It doesn't actually matter that much in my planning, because the two days we're spending at AK are our departure day (leaving around 3/4) and then on a Friday when we're hopping over to Epcot for dinner when we're done at AK. So that's good.

Question: On nights with EMH (eve) when HS is open until 10pm are there 2 showings of Fantasmic or is there only ever just one? Is is always at 8:30?

Any other entertainment schedules?

How about Spectro and Wishes? I am assuming those are just the 10pm MK closing nights?

Also, anyone know the Lion King and Nemo (and any other show times) for AK? I know the parade is at 3:45

That is strange that you can't pull them up - I'm not having any problems

Much of the entertainment info is not there.

The Lion King and Nemo shows won't show up till right before - You can look at Steve Soars site before you go and you can see the most current times.

DHS - HOLD THE PHONES - I saw a fantasmic time, lol

Parade is at 3pm.

I'll look at Spectro & wishes in a minute.

That's not always the case at MK (unlike IllumiNations) at Epcot.

Based on the hours that Wishingmom posted that she got from her TA. Heres hoping they're wrong!
