Wow, it is a bit surprising just how easy it is to skip a few days between journals... Anyway, I had a few ehhh days so far this week. I didn't go over my points, I just think I ate too much of what I had. A turkey sandwich isn't bad, but a 12 inch turkey sub with extra mayo isn't great. But man, it was good... I checked this morning and I have gained back 2 of the 12 pounds I had lost. It didn't help that last night we had a reception after our orchestra concert for our Maestro who is leaving, and I had a small piece of cake. I had some fruit with it so I wouldn't eat as much cake as I usually would have, but I also had some sugary punch. So I buckled down today. More so than I had early on in the week, anyway. I used exactly the number of points I'm allowed (I'm much happier when I have some left over, even though I don't have to) and I took my dogs for a 30 minute walk this evening. Not an easy task walking two 50 lb dogs at the same time! I'm not looking for another 12 lb loss. I would love to see another one, but it probably wouldn't be healthy. At this point I just want a loss! I knew that the losses would slow down but I didn't expect it to happen so soon! But the good thing is I have the points tracker on WW Online so I can look to see what I did so different this week compared to last week. And I'm pretty sure I haven't walked as much this week as last. So back to the grind! Atleast this time I'm doing it for myself instead of just going along with my Mom. I'm not going to get down on myself!
). Chicken lunchmeat and a salad with string cheese. I came home feeling hungry, but not famished. I figure feeling a bit of a hunger is a good thing when I have to. It makes me appreciate the taste of the food much more. All in all I feel pretty good about today!
And I'm glad you like my name, too, haha!
This week was a bit rough on my diet. We have a concert tonight so this week has been full of rehearsals. After rehearsal on Wednesday our director bought us all pizza - I can't resist Ingleside Pizza. It is straight from God! So I caved and had two pieces of cheese pizza, but stayed within my points for the day. Thursday I didn't have enough cash to get anything healthy for lunch so I had a Chikfila Sandwich (closest to campus and nice and cheap). So I am EXTREMELY fortunate to lose at all! The big difference between now and the last time I tried to lose weight - the first slip up, I quit. Not this time! I have officially hit my first mini goal set by the Weight Watchers Online tools - on to the next goal!
