I don't think I have ever seen two daytime parades at Magic Kingdom. I didn't anticipate this while planning. How does this affect the attractions that are available? Do they do this often?

Yes! The are starting it this weekend. So excited :) 3pm is not the best time for my little ones. 12 is much better. we'll grab lunch, wait for the parade while we eat. I think it's only for busy times.

Wait times may be lower for other attractions, but not significantly.

Do you think they will most likely do this during Spring break? Is this listed on the disney world website as a secure thing?

They are doing this during our week, which falls during spring break (week of 3/16).

This is not unusual during holiday times.

I think they are doing it the week before and after Easter too.

Something to keep in mind where WDW is concerned there isn't really a spring break period for any single week. Different Schools and boards in Canad and the US have them different weeks between now and April. It could be very possible they are making adjustment for all of those weeks to ease crowding and such in the parks, especially with FP+ now they now can make a good estimate of how busy each park will be on a given day.

This is very true. I figured the week we are going is one of the more crowded weeks, but looking a poll taken about Spring Break, I believe I could be wrong! The other parade times start right in the middle of my stay, so I just miss it, but no biggie! :)
