Wait times

We found standby wait times were often half of the posted time. We were at WDW thru Memorial Day weekend.

My dh was admiring how Disney does crowd control in this way. people would skip it or get a FP.

has anyone else noticed this?

Our last visit in October we noticed that as well. Soarin was relatively new and wait time was stated as an hour and a half, FP's were gone early in the day....so people were just walking away. We finally decided to just wait it out and only waited in line for 30 minutes. We found this to happen quite often last year. Previous years we didn't notice this as much.
