Wait times for ME at MCO?

If you join the Alamo members club you can check in online before you leave home. Advantage? You don't get in the line at all! You just pick up your luggage and go out and pick out your car. We've done it a couple of times and it's a breeze!

Sounds exactly like the Emerald Isle service from Enterprise that I use...so I guess that answers the question on other rental services providing something similar.

ME worked very well for my famiy last summer (7/13-7/19).

We waited about 15 minutes in the line at the airport. Everyone was friendly and the wait went fast.

We did stop at 2-3 resorts on the way to our own. It wasn't bad though because you got to see other places!

Taking ME back to the airport was a bit less fun. You do have to wait outside (or close by) the resort near baggage. Then you have to stop at various resorts again. There is much less enthusiasm because you know it's the end of your trip. Also, if you are not on a preferred airline, you have to take your own baggage to check in.

All in all, ME is made for people like me who do not like to drive in strange places. It's much better than the MEARS transfers from years ago.

However, if you are used to renting a car, I think you'll be happier sticking with that.
