Hi
We are going at the beginning of the christmas season and wondered if the queues for crush's coaster are normally a bit shorter in november or will they still be around an hour?

Thanks

It should be quiet enough but it does depend on what day of the week you're going. Crush always has a fairly long wait (fastpass badly needed imo) but if you are visiting for a couple of days then on your 2nd morning try to arrive at WDS a half hour before park opening and when they let you in sprint to Crush - we've found this works well and once the ride starts only waited a few minutes. If arriving early isn't an option maybe try lunchtime or late evening before the park closes. Hope this helps but midweek on a normal day in November should be quiet enough and you mightnt see long waits anyway.

I read on another forum before that they did have a fastpass trial but wasn't implemented full time mainly because it doesn't have a high turnover of getting people through the waiting line and ride, it was creating longer wait times. I think a single rider line would be more helpful after looking at vids on youtube there was a lot of empty seats IMO.

Even when we've been really off-peak (Feb & March) the queue for this ride is always between 50-80 minutes. So I would expect the same in November.

I would defintely recommend what Kizzabel has suggested and try to get there at about 930. There will be a mad run towards the ride with other like-minded parkgoers. But even with this, you shouldn't wait more than 15 minutes to go on!

A single rider queue would be a good idea, you often see shells going past with only 3 people on them!

Indeed, the main problem with fastpass is the flow of the ride, which could not support this system... They tried to use fastpass (twice), but it definitely did not work with a long fastpass queue time (30 minutes) and a doubled standard queue time (2 hours)...

To ride this track, I would recommend more to go at the closure (at 6:30 PM), there are often less people than when the parks opens (if you are not in the first 100 visitors, then it's yet 30 minutes wait...)

If memory serves me they tried doing a single rider line on Crush but for whatever reason it was abandoned. I know it was definitely trialled just before one of our trips, probably in 2011.

Went in November last year midweek, wait time was always over an hour except first thing, and even then a large line gathers outside before they open the queue line up.

Can't say that I noticed the line shortening at closing time either
