At least it appears to be yesterday. Pictures were posted today on orlandoparknews http://orlandoparksnews.blogspot.com/2010/12/islands-of-adventure-busy-busy-busy.html

For those with slow computers:

As of 11:00 AM:
Hulk 120 Min
Doom 75 Min
Spiderman 120 Min
FJ 90 Mins
Poseidon Fury 60 Min (!)
Cat in the Hat 60 Min

Later on, some of those got worse and some didn't. The pictures tell the tale. The usual slow loaders were backed up too but the water rides and Dragon Challenge weren't bad. They also showed that Green Eggs and Ham and Wimpy's were both open! Universal also had shows and bands throughout the park.

Another picture showed the line to get into the WWoHP at 150 minutes. and the last picture on the second page showed the park at capacity.

Wow! Rock on, Universal.

that's the way it was earlier this week. We actually gave up at least one park day due to the crowds. It's insane!

How crowded do you think it will be next week? We'll be there on 1/5 and 1/6 (Wednesday and Thursday).

I wonder if the Ripsaw Falls line was so short because the building was on fire

Today, IOA extended their hours because of the crowds.

Wow...the crowds aren't leaving huh?
Apparently not! We skipped over there yesterday around 10:30, and all lines were backed up at the entrance to the garages. US was very busy, but we got to do almost everything we wanted without huge lines. RRR was down for a bit, so we skipped that completely. IOA was a zoo! We did nothing besides the dragons in HP, then looped the park and left. I've never seen the FJ line so long! They had rope lines out all the way across the bridge to JP. It started somewhere in HP, went all the way across to JP side, then doubled back towards the actual entrance line to FB.

Wow - that is great for Universal! This is normally a really slow time. I hope they staffed for it!

The pictures of the crowds at IOA are absolutely insane!:scared1: I'm glad for Universal, but sorry for the people who spent a good part of their day waiting and sorry for team members who may have had to put up with lots of grumpy, waiting people!

Don't think I could handle the parks with that kind of crowd so we will see WWOHP mid February. :yay:

We went on the 2nd and it really wasn't that bad. The parks were very managable if you skipped WWOHP. We left about 5pm but I would bet that WWOHP emptied out around 7pm and we could have walked in then. It isn't closing to capacity like over the holidays. That I could not deal with.

Not sure about other school districts but ours doesn't start back till Wednesday, if others are the same it could be the reason for the large crowds.

I was wondering the same thing! I'm not sure these are pictures from yesterday.

Or there are phantom lines at Ripsaw Falls. If you look at Part 2, it shows Ripsaw Falls has a 60 minute wait.

It's "yesterday" based on the day I posted it which was December 31. In other words, it was December 30.
