Wait Time Question

How have the standby wait times been for early morning overall now that folks are using FP+?

For rides like POTC and Haunted Mansion where we never had a significant wait before, have the standby wait times gone up noticeably?

I'm working on our FP+ plans, I'd never usually choose POTC but have no idea if it's still a fast moving standby line.

Any tips are appreciated.

The wait times did go up, but I found that for most things the actual wait time is only 5-10 mins longer in the morning. I think FP+ also gets too much of the blame. This past quarter WDW posted record theme park attendance levels so that definitely will mean longer lines.

Having said that, the posted waits are almost always longer than the actual wait in my experience. The waits in the afternoon are noticeably longer, but still not terrible.

The vast majority of guests don't show up to the park until 11 AM so rope drop is always the best strategy for short waits.

Okay, thank you. I am just trying to figure out how to plan for our days, it sounds like I can do our usual rope drop and morning rides and save the FPs for the early/mid afternoon.
