We have friends visiting from England and we will be taking them to Disney for 5 days Aug 10 -15 which we understand will be a busy time for the parks during the day. We thought about an E Night to see if they could get on some of the rides at the MK. If they only issue 5000 tickets ( so they say) and there are 9 rides open 7 if you take out the Astro Orbiter and TTA, which are usually not very popular rides. For these 7 popular rides divide by the 5000 ticket equates out to about 700 people per ride.
What are the wait times on the rides for E Nights and is it worth the money.

Thanks

Ed

The only e-ride I've done was in March (during spring break though), so I don't know if I'll be much help. The waits weren't long at all. Maybe 10-15 minutes at most? There are also many opportunities to visit with characters at night, which is wonderful! The park is beautiful. Go for it!

We went in 2001 the week after the 4th of July. A very busy time, and the only wait was for Space Mountain. I rode BTMRR 7 times. 5 times with out every getting off the ride.:earsboy:

It is worth it - fewer people in the parks, MK on a warm summer night, characters in front of the castle, shorter lines etc......go!

Thanks

We were at E-night on the last Tuesday of June. It was JAMMED!
We managed to get on Buzz right during the fireworks, just before E-night started, two times with no wait.
Then over to Space Mountain with no wait.
Then to Big Thunder with little wait but the line was building.
By the time we got back to Space Mountain the wait was at least 20 - 30 minutes.
Someone else posted about this E-night being overly crowded and I agreed.
Last June (although it was a week earlier) we had a great time with little waiting. This year is was insane.
Really don't know why, or what to advise.
Good Luck!

We just returned from a week's stay at WDW.

We participated in both e nights scheduled this week.
Tuesday July 8th was not crowded, we walked on to each ride with no wait.

Friday, however, July 11tth, was a bit more crowded.
at the beginning of enight Space Mtn had a 30-45 minute wait.
Near the end of the night, there was 15 minute wait.

Splash Mtn was a walk on, Thunder Mtn was a 5 minute wait.
Haunted Mansion was 5 minute wait. Astro Orbitoer had a 10 minute, Alien Encounter was a 15 minute, Buzz was a walk on.
Country Jamboree no wait, TTA no wait

It has become a favorite of ours to wait and do the most popular rides during enight and do the others during the day .

We did E-night last night. It was wonderful. The waits were very minimal (Splash - 10 mins, BTMRR - 5 mins, Space - 15 mins, Buzz -walk on, HM - 10 mins). It was MUCH cooler than our day at MK as well. Go and enjoy.

E-nites have slowly gotten longer and longer waits as people find out more about them.
When we first did E-nites, we would walk on the ride and never wait for anything...now we wait 5-20 minutes for it.(and we actually time all our waits...like the time you stop until the time you get on the ride)
like me and some friends did an E-nite on the 17th of June...I decided to time how long the wait was when we did Space...it felt like 5 minutes, it was really 20.
but I would say, if you are there for a few days, you might as well do it, you really have nothing to lose

and some of the various wait times could do with the time of the E-nite. We have found the later the E-nite starts, the less people that are there.
