Wait time at rope drop for Kilimanjaro Safari?

What is the average wait time in the summer for the Safari at rope drop with a 9:00am opening?

0 minutes. Everyone is at FOP or Everest.

In fact we had only a short wait after riding FOP and Navi. 20 mins max.

We've been getting right up to where you descend to the loading platform before stacking up. Actually, last Oct we walked on Na vi, FPed FoP then strolled to the Safari and even then it was 10 mins, max.

As long as it takes everyone to board your jeep, thats it.

We always do PPO breakfast at Tusker House and when the park opens hit Kilimanjaro 1st on Stand By. The longest wait was 20-25 minutes.

Thanks everyone! We will be staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge and would like to just go to ride the Safari and walk the animal trails in the morning.

As others have said, most everyone is headed to FoP, Navi or EE. Safari should be nearly walk on. Even for about the first 15-30 minutes.
