Wait List

Does anyone have experience being wait listed? I have reservations at OKW for mid-May, but I was hoping to stay at BW or WL. We've been wait listed. Do most people that go on the list get reassigned, or should we just get excited about our stay at OKW (which I hear is also very nice).
