Wait List Comes Thru Again And Again!

I just want to say...again...I LOVE our DVC!

We have had to do major juggling for this current trip starting tomorrow night. We waitlisted for tomorrow night (a Sunday of a holiday weekend) two weeks ago -- within 24 hours we got multiple calls (first a 1BR at VWL opened -- then SSR).

Yesterday, we waitlisted to add a day at OKW for next Sunday night. Again, 24 hours later...ring ring!

This is our third or fourth success with the waitlist.

Any chance BCV would be available still during late August booked within 7 month window? I'm waiting for contract to go through before I can book. Not going to be my home resort, but will want to stay there late August.

It's really impossible to tell with any certainty. But aside from some very high occupancy times of the year (namely, Thanksgiving to New Year's) I think you're almost always going to be successful as long as you are prepared to call right at 7 months. Unless owners at the resort have it 100% booked for your travel dates more than 7 months out, there will be some rooms--it's just a question of how quickly they are gobbled up by non-owners.

If you do have problems booking your stay, just be prepared to go on the waiting list. The further out people book their stays, the more likely it will be that plans will change leading to cancellations.
