We have a studio booked at OKW from 1-5 Oct and have waitlisted at BCV and BWV for the same stay.

I've called MS a couple of times to see if anything had come up and only one night in each case. I thought it might be a good idea to change the night over and see if the other nights became available too rather than waiting for the whole 4 nights to be free. Both people I spoke to really tried to discourage me from doing this but I feel there would be more chance getting the whole stay if I did it one night at a time (I would opt for either BCV or BWV if I did this)

Have people any experience of doing this and what would you advise

Thanks

You definitely have a much better chance for any waitlist if you accept the individual days as they become available. But yes, there is a risk that you might have to move multiple times and I don't think it makes sense to waitlist for more than one resort in this manner.

You are talking about an extremely busy booking time for both BCV and BWV due to the F&W Festival.

Your odds would be best to waitlist as the individual days become available and try Boardwalk Preferred View Pool & Garden.

Thanks for this. I had every intention the second time I rang to change over to a day to day waitlist but the lady I spoke to strongly tried to talk me out of it and I ended up not doing it. Is it because it's more complicated for them to do it that way I wonder.

I agree, you have a much better chance of success. You currently have no risk in doing so if you have current years points, at least until 31 days out.
