Wait a second there is hand scooped ice cream at Cabanas?

They put all of the good stuff in the back of the buffet like the carving station, omelet station, and the desserts. Many people never walk back that way and are missing out. In the past they have had a pina colada flavor but stopped making it.

Yes! when my family was on the Disney Wonder, there was hand-scooped ice cream in Cabanas. I enjoy seeing what the special flavor they have beyond the classic flavors. My favorite hand-scooped ice cream flavor at Cabana's is the dulce de leche!

My boys discovered the ice cream at embarcation lunch. They saw someone else with ice cream. I told them to walk up to a server and ask VERY nicely and they will help you. (Adults hadn't finished eating and it was late, so not crowded!!) They came back with huge bowls of ice cream AND cookies. My older guy said, "He just GAVE it to me." It was multiple days into the trip before he figured out that he could eat all the junk he wanted.

I had a scoop of vanilla on the warm apple cobbler. Yum! We both agreed it was probably some of the best vanilla ice cream we've tasted. The cobbler was tasty too.

My husband has been doing that for years on all cruise lines.

They also have dairy free ice cream too. Little containers down among the regular ones.

One of my favorite moments, before we'd even gotten into our room. We got soft serve cones and turned to go to a table. My daughter said "but Mom you have to pay" and I said no I don't. Mind blown!

Add me to the list of people that didn't find the other ice cream. I remember seeing bread pudding and walking away, not my thing.

Unless the server is standing there offering to try some you won't know about it. There is not always a sign she convinced me to try the coconut favor. I gave it. It was very good looked for it at home and found pineapple coconut by Haagen dazs. Yum.
