NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

I haven't tried this yet - but I got a notification from a MouseSavers newsletter about a promo on Undercover Tourist. I'm going to cut/paste some of the info below. It is a little confusing without looking at it longer - but wanted to pass it along:

At Undercover Tourist - With every Walt Disney World (and Disneyland California) ticket they sell - Each ticket purchased now includes a FREE $20 certificate for Dining Dollars, which can be used towards 15% off Disney gift cards or larger discounts on other Orlando restaurants.
Example: Say you bought three Walt Disney World tickets. You would get $60 worth of Dining Dollars (three $20 codes, which can all be combined). You can use those to purchase $400 in Disney gift cards for $340 (using up all of your $60 of Dining Dollars). Since the Dining Dollars were FREE, you really are getting $400 worth of Disney credit for $340 – there’s no gimmick and the whole thing takes maybe 5 minutes of your time.

I have used Dining Dollars to purchase discounted DGCs and it works exactly as described. However, important to note, that Undercover Tourist and other Disney ticket portals are still generally more expensive than Unlocked Magic, as they add on their own fees, or charge more outright than UM. These upcharges undercut the value of the Dining Dollars. If you are utilizing UT or a similar portal because you have a good credit card category stack, however, you might come out on top. Just run your own numbers.

Check your BJ's app

I received a $15 off $250 or more (6% off) expiring on 9/21/25.

The coupon is not working online for me with the Disney Gift Cards with 2 $150 cards (Currently the cards to buy with the biggest percentage off while they are on sale for $141.99 each) bringing the total to $283.98.

I tried adding a smaller item as well but it still wouldn't take it.
I removed everything from the cart and tried with just one item that was over the $250 and the coupon still didn't come off so it must be something on their site.

Hopefully the site will get updated shortly or I can use in store as that will make the $300 in cards for $268.98 or 10.34% before other BJ's rewards or Credit Card cashback/points are figured in.

I feel like this has definitely happened in the past and next day it works. 🤞🤞🤞

nothing for me yet...I need to restock my DGCs soon since my AP renewal is due the end of this month. Fingers crossed for something better than the Target 5%....

Unlocked Magic is legit? If we bought the Christmas tickets through them we would save about $100

I got my 6 day park hoppers from Unlockedmagic (Xmas in July sale) for less than the 5 day PH through UT. Saved $78 over Disney prices and $30+ over UT. Got the ticket confirmation number & had it linked in my MDE within 48 hours. Tickets are issued by their authorized Disney TA.

@eticketplease

I tried to use my BJs $10 off $100 today but it would not add to the cart with the $150 DGC that's currently on sale for $141.99. Here's what I noticed. When DGCs are now added to your cart, the "instant savings" discount is coded as its own coupon. Maybe since that's now considered a "coupon" they won't let you stack the discount with the extra $10 coupon?

Edited to add: I called and had a rep on the line WHILE I placed the transaction. It never did show up, but he still helpfully refunded my $10 back to my credit card. Looks like this may be a new and annoying feature of these BJs coupons.

I think most people here can easily get Disney gift cards at a minimum of close to 10% off so these Dining Dollars aren't doing much. Also, in your example above of buying a $400 gift card, the other $340 that you are paying for, you are paying full price when you probably would have got it for at least 10% off elsewhere. Unless I'm missing something, I see almost no savings from them.

How would you play this? I got an offer on my CC for a $45 statement credit if I spend $500 online between now and October 14. I have accounts with both Sam's and BJ. I don't want to go too far over the $500 mark because that eats into percentages.

I thought about getting 3 of BJ's $150 cards which adds up to $425.97 and then just paying full price for a $75 GC or 2 $25 GCs elsewhere. But I don't like buying any GC for full price if I can avoid it. Then I thought about getting one $500 GC from BJ for $474.49 but then I have to figure out what to order elsewhere to total $25.51 or slightly more. My brain is aching from trying to math the math.

Buy a discounted 50 dollar BJs with the 500 one. It'll cost you like 523 dollars.
