Wainscoting with different height walls?

Those are articles by handymen

I get Architectural Digest, southern Living and a couple other home mags-plus watch several home re-do shows-nobody does wainscotting
Reading magazines and watching home shows doesn't make you an expert. Sorry.

we recently installed wainscoting--ordered from a great company called wainscoting amercia--here is a link to their site that has tons of photo's--perhas something there would answer your questions--go to the gallery tab

also here is a link to the wainscoting we recently installed--hope it may help answer some questions---I wanted true raises panel wainscoting, not picture frame molding painted to look like wainscoting---wainscoting america uses mdf board, and will mill all the pieces based upon the dimension you give them--it was so easy, and they will work with you every step of the way---and it was not expensive at all, even with the shipping---we sent ours to a furniture finisher who sprayed on the paint and it looks like glass, just spectacular--they also do all the molding around the windows and the door pediaments

Love it! Your home is beautiful!

My DH is actually making ours. His dad was a finished carpenter and DH picked it up from him over the years. He has made wainscoting before so I know it will turn out great.

Hmmm....
http://www.southernliving.com/home-...aster-bath-bathroom-00417000071673/page3.html

"The master bath offers refined cottage style with its wainscoting, dressing chair, and bureau."

http://www.architecturaldigest.com/...10/11/designer_secrets_elissa_cullman_article

"You could also add wainscoting—a paneling system beneath the chair rail—for an added three-dimensional effect."

http://www.architecturaldigest.com/homes/homes/2010/12/understated_beauty_article#ixzz1VcyuztiF

"In the dining room the wainscoting left room for an embroidered linen wallcovering..."

These are all from within the past 12 months. I'm sure I could have found more if I cared to. FWIW, I don't have wainscoting in my home, but we visited a number of model homes today and many of them did. It looked really nice too. OP, have fun painting.
