Are wagons allowed on DCL? If not in general, anyone seen exceptions for disabilities? I don't need it to haul a kiddo, I need it to haul equipment. We don't plan to cruise with my will be almost 5 year old's power chair which holds all his respiratory equipment. We would just bring his manual chair, which he uses to get around most indoor places. Being on the ship and never being "that" far from our stateroom (not as far as we are from our van in the parks), we won't need all his equipment with us at all times, but if we head to the pool or a show or whatever, we may want at least his suction, feed supplies, and cough assist machine. It would be a lot to carry in our hands around the ship while managing him and our 2 other kids. In other situations locally, we just take a wagon to pull the stuff. Is that allowed on DCL?

Are wagons allowed on DCL?
From the DCL website:

the following items are restricted for safety reasons and should not be brought on board.

Wheeled recreational equipment and transport devices
  • Wagons (collapsible wagons are allowed)

There are places there isn't a lot of space, and wagons could be in the way.

Anyone know anything clarifying on "collapsible wagons are allowed?" Ours that we would bring does indeed fold up. Doe that mean we can bring it?

It specifically states "collapsible" is allowed. I think it's storage space - everything needs to go into your stateroom, nothing can be left in the hallway. They don't want a bunch of people bringing wagons and then blocking hallways (because it also would block passage within and egress from the stateroom). A collapsible wagon would presumably fold up and fit into the room without blocking. In that same section of the Prohibited Items list quoted above, it also states:
  • Guests with a mobility disability that requires the use of a mobility aid should contact Special Services prior to sailing. Wheeled mobility devices with less than 3 wheels and devices that cannot maintain stability and balance when stopped, unpowered or unoccupied are not allowable.

I was gonna say, if this is for medical reasons, I would reach out to their team that handles accommodations. It's not like you're bringing it for fun, so they might have special guidance that would apply to your use case.
