To give you some context on the game :-

This was a Champions League game - the best teams in europe (from the previous seasons individual league standings)

Liverpool have won this trophy 5 times (3rd best record of any team in history)

We last won it two seasons ago - 2004/05

Barcelona are one of the 'biggest' teams in europe, although they have only won this trophy twice - the last time being last season

Down to the last sixteen - results are the aggregate of the home and away games, with if the score is level, the team who scores the most 'away' goals wins

We beat the tournament favourites 2 - 1 away from home - so we go into the 2nd leg with the advantage

That was yesterday with the Manchester United fans, and most weekend with the italian fans

SO much so with the italians, a referee was killed recently, and they suspended all games until all the stadia were re-certified as 'safe'
