Good Afternoon,
Can anyone let me know if they have had the wacky tourists or uninvited guests at their wedding? My FH wants them, but after seeing a You Tube Video of the wedding confetti cannon, I am leary if any of the SPECIAL add ons are worth the money?

Please let me know if you did it and loved it or hated it and how long they stay?

Thanks!

When I worked at Disney in entertainment I WAS a wacky tourist at several events. However, I never did weddings - mostly just conventions. Personally, I don't really think the gig is really wedding appropriate, but at the conventions people seemed to get a kick out of us. Granted, they were always corporate conventions where the alcohol flowed, lol. I hope that helps a little bit...
:goodvibes

P.S. Oh - and sets were usually 30+ minutes in length but that was in 2003...

I love the confetti canon. It's VERY festive. It might not look like much on a video, but when you're there on a dance floor, and the last song of the night's blasting around you and there's confetti everywhere, it makes people even more giddy.

At my best friend's wedding at Disney, she had one and I thought it was great. Of course, if you're trying to choose between a confetti canon and let's say, a method of wedding transportation that you really want, or you're trying to put money towards a park shoot, then those things might be more important. But if you have the wiggle room in your budget, I definitely give it thumbs up.

Can't speak about the wacky tourists. I don't know know what kind of pranks or jokes they tell, but I guess my thinking is that I wouldn't want to make any guests uncomfortable at such a special occasion because I'm not sure exactly what one person's sense of humor is compared to another, and I'd be wondering if it will register right away that the tourists are fake, etc.

But hey, if you want to make 'em laugh, go for it! :cheer2:
