We are staying in a studio next month and was wondering if we should try to request a specific room location. Never stayed in the villas there before so not sure if the views differ that much. Thanks.

I always ask to be close to the elevators. I don't want to be at the end of the hallway, longer walk. You can ask for a view of the pool, that is about the only view besides trees.

The first time we stayed in the Villa area. I arrived from Vero Beach with a sick child and we had just come from Urgent Care. We had been given the room at the end of the hall. So far away. I never went in the room and went back downstairs. I explained its only myself and my child and she is sick. They told us they could move us the next day closer. Which was a godsend since after another visit to Urgent Care two days later she was diagnosed with pnemonia and we spent alot of time in the room. Also running to roaring forks for drinks and food. The staff :love:was wonderful as we asked for sheets daily since she had such high fevers. I insisted I'd change them they wouldn't hear of it. They changed our sheets every day and cleaned the room no charge. Even the staff at Roaring Forks knew me from running in and out.

We've requested lake view..just to be on that side of the building.....all views are pretty much of trees..very peaceful

A high room near the elevators is one we prefer.

When my family is fown at VWL this July, we requested a "Dedicated 2 Bedroom" and not to be on the ground floor, which I know there are none on the ground floor, because we will have a 6 Yr Old with Us.

2nd Floor - 11 Dedicated 2 Bedroom Units @ VWL
3rd Floor - 10 Dedicated 2 Bedroom Units @ VWL
4th Floor - 10 Dedicated 2 Bedroom Units @ VWL
5th Floor - 12 Dedicated 2 Bedroom Units @ VWL

Very true...VWL is the red roofed building in this photo...which also shows how small the DVC resort is.

There really is no long walk to the elevators, but it can seem that way whenever you are at the end of any building.

Dedicated 2 bedroom is not a request, it's a booking category. Does your reservation say Dedicated 2 bedroom?

Go to DVCNews.com follow links and you can get to a spot that shows you where each room is in each DVC with reviews of each room

So not like BWV?

At the villas are there any views facing the parking lot..??
What what I looked up on Bing Maps, the villas rooms does not have any view of the parking lot. Only the rooms that are in the WL itself. Most of the villas do get a views of the woods, but there are some rooms that have a good view of the Quiet pool and Bay Lake
