VWL/Roaring Forks Q

Hi,

Q about Roaring Forks (I think thats the name)...Is it like a take out place?? Could you get breakfast and bring it back to the rooms from there???thanx...

Yup. You can either eat there or bring food back up to your room/villa. HTH!

Thats a good question. We are "going home" 1st time in Dec. to home resort at WLV and wondered how Roaring Forks compared to All Stars eating. Sounds similar.

We love scrapbooking our WDW pictures also. We do Creative Memories and are now finishing our 2nd trip book and ready to start our 3rd from Sept.-Oct. '01. Very much looking towards doing our 1st trip "home" scrapbook.

The Allstar food courts are much bigger that Roaring Forks. Roaring forks has two soda dispensers, two coffee dispensers, one small cooler with sandwiches/salads/fruit, some baked good storage spaces and hot food (fast food) you order at the register. Pick up is on the other side of the restaurant where the majority of the tables are. The menu is very limited and in respect to the other deluxe hotel fast food places we find it to be the black sheep of the family.
Moderate and Budget hotels have more/better fast food options available. The deluxe hotels have nicer sit down restaurants.

It is also very crowded during peak breakfast times. Be prepared to stand in line for 20 minutes for a bad donut.

Far better to make a grocery run - or even have groceries delievered by DVC - wouldn't cost any more than Roaring Forks.

(Lunch and dinner there isn't bad at all for fast food - the biggest problem with breakfast is that they are getting too many people through - and it isn't set up to handle it).
